Resolution which was passed at our recent Annual Conference,

when twenty-seven societies from all over the British Empire

were represented.

"This Conference welcomes the action taken by the Secretary

of State for the Colonies in relation to the Ordinances bearing on the Mui Tsai system in Hong Kong, and urges the appointment of inspectors for the vigorous and immedi- ate enforcement of this ordinance, and for the efficient inspection of all existing Mui Tsai,
